"I feel like I've learned more about the profession of architecture in one month at CCa than I did after 7 years of architectural design school. It's not just the type of work we do or the standards that we adhere to, but the people we work with every day who contribute most to the learning environment here."

Born and raised in a small town of 2,000 people, with hot summers, cold winters, and nothing but the Sequoia National forest to explore. Now I’m living in a place that has decided it would just be nicer to skip winter, fall, and most of spring. I hope one day to take my experience at CCa and combine it with my knowledge of environmentally responsive architecture to create a more tangible connection between our needs and the natural environment.
Snow...for skiing, snowboarding, throwing, snowmen, snowwomen, angels, yellow jokes
Rock...for climbing, thermal mass
Whitewater...for kayaking, rafting, fishing, cooling beer naturally
Mountains...for mountain biking, backpacking, hunting, driving my Honda Civic in ways it was not designed for
Roads...for my road bike, hopefully a motorcycle again soon, getting to work, road rage (not necessarily an interest, but it’s inevitable so I might as well embrace it)
